First place winner John Retzloff from Covelo, Calif. entered the TTC competition this year with his super modified 1977 GMC K15 with Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC tires size 19.5/46-20LT. Matt Huit from Spokane, Wash. took the second place spot in his super modified 1981 Volkswagon Rabbit on Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC tires size 19.5/54-20LT. Both men entered this year's competition with 18 years of off-road driving experience.

"What a great way to celebrate 21 years of the Top Truck Challenge, and 50 years of Mickey Thompson innovation," said Ken Warner, VP sales and marketing, Mickey Thompson. "There is no substitute for the extreme conditions of the Top Truck Challenge and we congratulate both John and Matt on an incredible performance at this event."

Held in Hollister, Calif., the TTC sets the bar for off-road obstacle courses, and every annual event offers something special. TTC competitors participate in the legendary Tow Test, Frame Twister, Mud Pit, Obstacle Course, Hill Climb, and the ultimate challenge, the Tank Trap. Plus, this year the event added a new challenge called the Coal Chute utilizing a freshly renovated section of the Hollister Hills SVRA.
